About Brian

Brian is a speaker, author, columnist, lecturer, consultant and storyteller.

He spent many years in leadership for the not for profit sector. In recent years Brian has lectured in a leadership college, spoken around Australasia and Asia and written his first children's book. Prior to that he pioneered a contemporary, dynamic inner city church community in New Farm, Brisbane. Before that, for over ten years he was the Leader of one of Australia’s largest, fastest growing churches; spearheading the development of one of Australia’s largest and finest campuses.

He has also worked as State Director for World Vision, traveled the world working with young people, and way back completed a building apprenticeship. Brian has extensive experience in motivational speaking and business consulting.

His weekly newspaper column, ‘The Good Life’ was read by over 250,000 for over 20 years. His motivational book, ‘More Ice Cream, Less Beans’ has sold over 27,000 copies making it an Australian best seller. His first illustrated children’s book, ‘I Grow in Grandad’s Garden’ has also become a best seller with over 17,000 sold. His second illustrated children's book, 'The Adventures of A B C & D' is enjoyed by thousands of families. 'The Man Book', Brian's latest publication, has been designed for those who don't much like relationship books (men) and early feedback is very positive. It's short (100 pages), easy to read, funny, engaging, practical and innovative.

Brian and his wife Moira have a successful marriage reflecting their commitment to walk what they talk. Moira is especially gifted in speaking and writing. They have three children and eight grandchildren.

Brian has a passion to encourage people to reach for their highest ideals and get the most from life by living on purpose in every area of their lives. He has completed the Gold Coast half marathon, the Kokoda Track and the Mooloolaba Triathlon.


Whatever he does, Brian’s personal warmth and commitment to the highest standards of professional excellence combine to create a compelling and dynamic impact.
He continues to be a link for resources to be released to feed the hungry, heal the sick and educate and empower the poor through personal and community development.
